Brandy’s Troll Haven is a place that you can get in touch with the desire to be surrounded by trolls, elves, witches and wizards, giants and dwarves all dwell in the magical world created by Garrett Bandy.  It is private property but he graciously lets you wander around the premises to allow your imagination come to life.  Just remember that it is a home and please respect it as such, think how you would feel if people were wandering though your land and leaving litter…please be mindful of his generosity.

Brady’s Troll Haven is a castle that is available for rent for a weekend.  There are etched glass dragons and other mystical spirits waiting to welcome you.  As you are transported back in time you will enter the world of Victorian and then into Medieval.

There is a huge crystal and gold chandelier that hangs above the rotunda which hosts a circular staircase showcasing the 7 intricate stained glass windows.  The 5 carved Gothic chairs are covered in red velvet and sit in front of a long breakfast bar dividing the kitchen from the living area.  You can take the stairway off the living room to the dungeon below where there are bedrooms available.  Walk out onto the large balconies on the upper levels and see the beauty surrounding the estate.

The dungeon is truly a step into the medieval times with its stone walls with alcoves set into the walls to house the crossed swords, glass etchings of mystical origins and an array of other things waiting for you to explore.  Inside the dungeon area there are torture devices along with stone gargoyles which adorn the walls and the truly impressive English oak doors mounted on their big black iron hinges.  You will dodge stalagmites which hang from the hallway ceilings as you go from one room to the next.  Now don’t be frightened, although it is a dungeon, it isn’t dank and dark, it is well lit and has modern heating and plumbing so you don’t have to worry about going to an outhouse!  Rent for the castle is not cheap, but how many times in your life will you be able to actually stay in a castle with all the stories you can take back home with you to tell your friends?

When you are outside you will be among the beautiful gardens and orchards where there are also buffalo for you to see.

The little man in the cart has the biggest potty mouth I have ever heard. Swearing in front of children and acting like a upset miss guided child. I would not recomend anyone renting from this person. If he dose not want people around don’t advertise. Sure he has no tresspassing signs up allover the place how ever it is hard to figure where the line is. Care should be taken if you still think this is worth having your children placed in the area of this bitter person.

Was told by the tourist info center inSequim that the place was bought and people are now living in the castle and took down all of the trolls on the property around the castle. The new owners told info center not to give directions to the place because they dont want people around taking pics anymore.

  6. Jerry Decker says:

The roads through the property are public roads, and the owners of the properties cannot prevent you from driving through and taking pictures. However, you may not be able to stop off the road there. You can park down at the boat ramp and walk up the hill to take pictures anytime though.

I first found out about the castle when I was about ten. A neighbor took us out to the game farm, then to the troll farm, I have to say as a ten year old I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. The castle, the troll and the dragon gates.. what lies behind them? The keeper of the whole place?. I never knew but boy did my imagination run away me. I loved it! Now 22 years later I have taken many friends and showed them the trolls, when I was 12 I showed my mom and dad how to get there. I can’t believe I could find my way back as a child, that’s how impressed I was. We lived almost an hour and a half away. I took my son when he turned 3 and he loved it. Now a year later I took him out again with my boyfriend and his son to be absolutely saddened by the fact all the trolls are gone!! My favorite the little purple guy with the club… GONE, Cyclops…GONE!! Their all gone my heart broke a little today and I’m sad there is not any other place around like this that I have ever seen. I’m so glad I have pictures, and my memories of a place that is no longer :(

I realize when it is your property, you do as you please. However, the original owner should have put a clause into the selling of the property that new owners could not change things. It is a real crime to come and tear down another’s creative work. There must be some other reason the new buyer purchased the place. Sad, the pictures I have seen that were posted on Facebook are wonderful. I was all set to recommend to my friends who love dragons. A real shame.
