Wenatchee River Rafting – Leavenworth to Cashmere/Monitor, Washington

Wenatchee River Rafting – Leavenworth to Cashmere/Monitor, Washington. Start you spring out with a rafting experience that will make you glad you are in good physical condition and athletic!  Here the Wenatchee River perks form Tumwater Canyon and spills into the Columbia River Valley at the foot of the Cascade Mountains.  Shoot through the rapids where you will experience the thrill of a lifetime, then relax for a little while as you float through the countryside.

The runoff in the spring produce high water volumes and are great for Class 3 and 4 rapids rafting.  The river then has the biggest waves and longest "wave-trains".  This condition usually is through May and June, but with Mother Nature you can never be sure when the biggest waves will be there….until you are in one!

The trip is usually sunny and occasionally you will experience some serenity, then get ready for action as you hit the next set of rapids.

Location for meeting: 10860 Highway 2 in Leavenworth, Washington 98826

Spring is definitely the best time to raft ANYwhere in the state of Washington and it is especially true of the Wenatchee River which is the quintessential whitewater rafting trip. The Wenatchee River is exactly what commercial guests and novice paddlers are seeking in a river rafting trip — usually sunny weather, monstrous, ‘forgiving’ waves and plenty of ‘down-time’ between rapids to catch your breath, prepare for the next series of waves and talk about the waves you just finished climbing over. Another great beginner raft trip is the Sauk River near Darrington, Washington and the Methow River upstream from Pateros, Washington.
